Trinity Youth

Reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve.

Why We're Here & What We Do

Our vision Trinity's Youth Ministry exists to serve the local church by reaching students and their friends (grades 7-12) for Christ and equipping them to serve.  By reaching students for Christ, we mean teaching them of the hope of the Gospel found in Jesus Christ.  By equipping, we mean helping students grow in the Christian faith while enabling them to serve the church and others in their spheres of influence.

We believe that the Christian life was not intended to be lived alone. Therefore, as part of the covenant community, our ministry serves the students and their families in grades 7-12 as they walk through this season of life. We believe it is important for teenagers to develop meaningful relationships with other adult Christians as we all seek to follow the Lord faithfully.

Our goal is to see students growing in their understanding of the gospel of grace, to experience genuine involvement with other Christians, to use their gifts to reach others with the gospel, and to develop a biblical worldview that relates God and the Bible to all spheres of life.

With Scripture as our ultimate authority, we seek to answer  these  basic questions that all human beings have. Where do I find my identity (Justification)? Can I change (Sanctification)? Does my life matter? What is the end goal of life (Glorification)?

When We Meet

We meet on two Wednesdays a month during the school year from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the TPC Youth Room. On these evenings we have group games, large group teaching, snacks and fellowship. In addition, we have service projects and monthly social events (game nights, bonfires, snow tubing, bowling, hikes, etc.). We also meet for Sunday School during the school year from 10:00-10:45 a.m.

Bible Instruction Class

Bible Instruction Class is a two semester class for 7th-8th graders that meets weekly to strengthen their faith and prepare them for communicant membership. The class focuses on six parts: a Bible overview, covenant theology, doctrine, Christian living, the PCA’s history and polity, and church membership. The class is free and not required for a youth to become a communicant member at TPC.

RYM (Reformed Youth Ministries)

Each summer we take a trip to Florida or Colorado to one of the Reformed Youth Ministries (RYM) Conferences that serves high school students. You can find out more about RYM at www.rym.org. These conferences serve as a continuation of our ministry’s vision of reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve as we build upon the ministry going on with students during the school year.
