Children’s Worship provides a place for young children to go to worship God and hear, see, and respond to His stories through a worship experience planned especially for them. Children will experience the love and presence of God through a highly liturgical, child-centered worship service that echoes the liturgy of the larger congregation. Participating children leave to participate in this special time right before the sermon begins (during the second service, school year only).
Children ages four and up are usually ready for Children’s Worship! If your child is slightly younger, and you think they might be able to participate, please contact the coordinator (below). Generally, these children are a bit too young to participate, but exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
At this time, we are unable to accommodate children who are not potty-trained.
Volunteer teachers and youth helpers for this ministry are welcome to contact coordinator Debra McLemore to find out more, using the contact form below. As with all our other programs, anyone 18 and older and working with children at Trinity will need to undergo a background check.
