What to Expect
We meet together to worship the Trinity – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit –and in this way we are a congregation. We also meet to encourage, support, and fellowship with each other. It is together, as a congregation, that we grow and remain faithful, each supporting the other.

There are about one hundred and forty people meeting together each Sunday morning. The church is a small A-frame building with an office & education building next door. Friends chat on the steps, catching up on the week. Parents drop small children off in our nursery. In his office, the pastor and elders meet early to pray together before services. Organ and piano music fill the air and steps quicken as we gather in the sanctuary to prepare our hearts for worship.

Although we are a congregation full of people who make our living on the cutting edge of research and education at Mayo Clinic or IBM, on Sunday we enjoy singing hymns loved by generations before us. We love the history of the church. It is good to remember that we are not the first generation to love God. We stand together to reaffirm the ancient creeds of the Christian church, to read scripture together, and to pray. We have so much to be thankful for.

As we come together on Sunday mornings, we recognize that worship is the most important thing we do. We were made to worship our Creator and King.. The worship at Trinity is designed to confront believers with the character of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit, and move them to love His magnificence. You will also find that our worship is designed to challenge the thoughts, feelings, preconceptions and habits of skeptics, calling on them to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.

Our Sunday evening service is a smaller, more informal opportunity for us to close our day with worship of the one true God. Much like the morning service, we sing, pray, and are challenged by hearing God’s word explained. The atmosphere is more informal. We sing hymns that have been put to contemporary tunes, and we use more varied instruments as we worship the Lord (e.g. acoustic guitar, violin, cello, piano, etc). The prayer time is an opportunity for the congregation to mention specific items for prayer and we spend time praying for and with one another.

Please consider joining us for either or both of these Sunday services.
