How are we as Christians to engage the culture around us?

A.  Methods of engagement

    1. Defensive against

       - reforming the culture

       - political action

    2. Purity from

       - have nothing to do with the current culture

       - form counter-culture

    3. Relevant to

       - must be engaged in reforming the culture

       - the Christian culture must be enticing to the world's culture

B. Scriptural mandate (Gen 1:28)

    - Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth

    - Subdue the earth

    - Have dominion over creation

C. The effect of the Fall

D. How should Christians respond?

Conclusion: The power of the Gospel transforms us and enables us to engage the culture.
