Our Mission
To glorify and enjoy God, nurture the faith of God’s People, and present Christ to the unchurched by means of God’s Word, prayer, baptism, and the Lord’s Supper.

Creeds

The Trinity, The Life Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the forgiveness of sins through Jesus.

These truths are dear to us as they were to the church fathers in the past. On Sunday Morning Worship, you may hear us repeat these central truths out loud as a part of the worship service.

We call them confessions. We repeat the confessions often.

Over the centuries, groups have tried to consolidate these truths into poems, songs, sayings, or creeds. They are still published, often under the name of the groups that wrote them: The Nicene Creed, The Apostles Creed, and Athanasian Creeds.

We usually repeat these creeds as they were originally translated, letting the archaic words add to the beauty and worship. We stand with the writers, long dead as word by word, we speak the truth out loud together.

Doctrines
Trinity Presbyterian Church stands in the theological tradition of the Protestant Reformation, believing in the sovereignty of God, salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, her official statement of beliefs consists of The Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms as a faithful expression of the Biblical message of God’s gracious work of redemption in Christ.
Some other statements of Reformed doctrine that we find very helpful are The Belgic Confession of Faith, The Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dordt.
